Hey Mom, I promised to send you some pictures of my flowers this summer, but somehow never got around to it. Here are a few of them.
This pot of begonia did very well, I used an old pot that had been in storage and was shocked to see this purple vine growing out of the begonias!
The Zinnias got over 6 feet tall again this year but did not bloom quite as well as the year before.
I have a tendency to forget to water the pots out front so I put some begonias in it and a little trailing ivy.
The Crepe Myrtle Trees were especially pretty this year.
This is 2 pots of petunias that did very well on the deck down by the pool.
We had a gazillion butterflies in the zinnias this year!
This Hibiscus had blooms bigger than my hand this year and it is still blooming now! I moved it under the porch roof a bit to protect it from frost. Most of my blooming plants are done, but I still have one hanging petunia, and 3 pots of Geraniums that are still blooming. We had a pretty hard frost last night and I haven't checked them this morning... I may have spoken too soon!
